Ron van Valkengoed

Ron van Valkengoed has been engaged with Ezwim since 2001, first as customer and later as a member of the advisory board. Ron joined Ezwim as managing director in 2006.

Before joining Ezwim, Ron worked for EDS as the Offering Director Managed Mobility (ECO) globally. Extended Connected Office (ECO) is the EDS outsourcing proposition for infrastructure and support services around enterprise mobility. In this role he had global responsibility for product management, sales and delivery readiness of this service offering. In addition he also had responsibility for determining EDS’ indirect channel strategy and carrier relationships with European mobile operators and managing the Research in Motion (Blackberry) and iPass (remote access) partnerships. Prior to this role, Ron led EDS Solutions Consulting (consultancy and applications) in The Netherlands and sales in Europe North, and was a member of the European board for eSolutions.

Ron is a recognized authority in Enterprise Mobility leading the EDS corporate strategies, speaking at industry events and as a founding director of Radicchio. This industry organization was launched 1999 by Sonera, Gemplus, Ericsson and EDS to address “identity” in a wireless world.
